The hydraulic cylinder is enclosed in the log splitter structure so as to minimise the overall dimensions during the log gripping phase.
The side guides make it possible to avoid openings in the lower part of the log splitter, which would otherwise compromise its robustness, as well as to have an extremely strong and long-lasting sliding system.
